Delicious, buttery banana muffins.
1 ½ cups flour
1 cup oats
½ cup granulated sugar
¼ cup brown sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
3 large bananas, mashed
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/3 cup browned butter
½ cup milk
Preheat oven to 350*. Coat muffin pans with non-stick spray, or use paper liners. Whisk together the
flour, oats, sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
Combine egg, bananas, vanilla, browned butter, and milk in a large bowl. Fold in flour mixture, and mix
until smooth. Scoop into muffin tins. Top with slivered almonds and sprinkle with granulated sugar.
Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
